My first impression of the room was that it felt more like a cute little apartment rather than a regular hotel room, it felt personalized. I loved the decor, the only drawback I would have to say is the small elevator but it is very Paris and very romantic! I would most likely go back and book the suite!
Everything was really good.
the hotel was very charming with the hint of a typical french hotel . on arrival the welcome was good and the room lovely and warm from a very cold evening . The breakfast typically french was adequate although a choice of cereal could have enhanced the experience . The bedroom was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed although the room was a little dark being dark green a more subtle brighter colour would have been better . The hotel itself was in a really good position and I would recommend it to others
I would like to convey my sincerest of thanks to the staff at the Mathis for making our stay memorable. It was also our honeymoon and we travelled all the way from Australia to Paris. They catered to all our needs and one of the staff even brought my wife honey to cure her sore throat. We would highly recommend the hotel to our friends and family travelling to Paris. The location was superb and the rooms were decorated very beautifully to create a very warm and inviting ambience. Best regards, Ajay and Paulina
